Just wanted to let you know that THE LIFE SKILLS workshop was really good. Katreena was a really motivational speaker, she really opened up my eyes to see what I can do to make myself a better person inside and out. Her presentations were worthwhile, in my opinion, that was one of the best workshops I been too. I was looking forward to the next day just to see what she was going to represent to the class. It was by far over-all a GOOD workshop!  Have a Good Day……….

Dear Katreena,

I just wanted to let you know I really appreciated all of your kind words. Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated to try to do something to better myself and my community, especially when I come across negative people. I have been told my dream of running a non-profit center was a great idea, but not realistic.
I consider myself blessed to have met you when I did, because I was ready to give up, but you helped me to renew my faith in me and my dreams. Again I want to say thank you. for simply listening and for the encouragement.

I just lost my mom a few months back and I'm an only child. I didn't feel like getting back to work or think I could. I felt so stuck but you should, and told me that no matter what we've done we can get back up and do it again. You gave me that push to move forward and get back in the game. Dear Mrs. Katreena,
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach me more skills in regards to my career. Your class training has made a positive outlook on life itself for me. I apologize for the first day of training that I had been absent. I have so much personal situations that is very negative right now for my children and I. Currently, my children and I are homeless, and have lost everything due to their father's alcoholism. Although, he is incarcerated; I am the one picking up the pieces of what life has brought us at this time.
I am in limbo right now in my personal life. All I am worried about is finding employment quickly to support my three children. Just a couple of days I felt like a failure and just wanted to give up on myself, but my thoughts and determination are of my children and their future. Just listening to you, and just the enthusiasm you have about careers, life, dreams, and goals has brought me back to a more positive way of thinking. I have always had dreams and goals, but being with my ex-husband took those dreams away for a moment.
I appreciate the information you had given me after my interview. Now I feel so different today. I feel like I can pursue my goals even more now, even though life is giving me a raw deal right now. Thank you again for everything! I hope to take your training again soon.

Hello Katreena,

I would like to say that this was a very eye opening experience for myself. I will be using each strategy as best I can, and knowing that the knowledge I carry was taught only by the best. I am still interested in what to offer my job and how to show it. The best way that I could is to not give up, keep confidence in myself and give back to my community. I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to give me a chance for the interview. I was pleased with the way your level of comforting the beginning of the interview. I was able to recognize my mistakes in which I need to improve my verbal and physical responses.
Throughout your training workshop I gained knowledge of starting a resume appropriately, budgeting expenses, presenting myself for interviews the right and the wrong way. Please forgive my rude behavior in the first session, I'm going through a rough spot. I really enjoyed learning about how to improve my next real interview.
